“Fregnacce for Christmas” — A Hands-on Italian Cooking Experience

Flour and raw eggs on a table for a GivingTuesday cooking event, symbolizing community and shared culinary heritage.

Tuesday, December 16, 2025 - 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. EST

You will have an unforgettable homemade pasta-making experience that will transport you to Italy during the event.

Accompanied in your journey by the two co-directors, Nancy Perin and Rocco Maragna, who share passion for cooking and knowledge of Italian food, wine, and family traditions, they will provide you with an authentic, unique Italian experience.

Making Pasta with a Purpose

This exclusive evening of homemade pasta-making is where you’ll be part of a limited group of just 6 guests enjoying a unique culinary and cultural experience.

Through this opportunity, you’ll not only learn precious tips about Italy and enjoy a delicious meal in great company, but you’ll also become part of Gallery’s ongoing effort to build bridges between communities and preserve migration as a human right, a legacy of courage, and a source of hope and transformation.

Your $75 CAD contribution will directly support our 2026 Migration Literary Award, helping the Gallery continue its work of fostering meaningful connections and celebrating the human experience of migration—one story at a time.

Participation in this event is considered a charitable donation to the Gallery of Human Migration. As with all charitable donations, contributions are non-refundable. A donation receipt can be asked for tax purposes at: donations@galleryofhumanmigration.org

Sign up today to ensure your spot and learn how to make this homemade pasta. Surprise your children and have fun with them by making pasta together for your family’s Christmas celebration! You have until December 12 to reserve your spot. Bring your apron!
